BIO
Geoffrey Beevers is a British stage, television, and radio actor with a
career spanning more than five decades. Having trained at the Royal
Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA), he built a strong reputation in
classical theatre, performing extensively with companies such as the
Royal Shakespeare Company and the National Theatre. . He has also
enjoyed a distinguished radio career, particularly with BBC Radio, where
his versatile voice has brought many literary adaptations and original
dramas to life. Geoffrey is best known to Doctor Who fans as the
decayed incarnation of the Master in the serial “The Keeper of Traken”,
appearing alongside the Fourth Doctor, Tom Baker.
Decades later, he returned to the role in numerous audio dramas produced by Big Finish Productions, where his chilling, skeletal-voiced interpretation of the character became a highlight of The Masterful boxset.
Beyond Doctor Who, Beevers has appeared in a wide range of British
television dramas, including roles in series such as The Bill, Casualty, Slow Horses, and comedies such as Plebs.
