Download (via right-click and save, please) either the Chicago TARDIS theme (as heard at Opening and Closing Ceremonies) or the CT Inter-panel music (as heard between panels). Both pieces were composed and performed by Robert Warnock, are mp3 files, and appear on this website with his kind permission.

Offsite...

The McGann Library has several pages of member reviews and photos of the convention, naturally concentrating on Paul's panels and appearances.

Bill Rudloff, our sound guy, has a page up with behind-the-scene photos.

Gwyn Jeffers also has a bunch of photos up, mostly of her with various guests. (While you're at her site, check out her great 3-D artwork!)

Convention attendee Michael Thomas posted the following review on Outpost Gallifrey (reprinted with permission):

Wow.

Even the lines were entertaining.

I've been to ten conventions, two signings, and a few miscellaneous events, and none of those compared to the great time that my wife and I had at Chicago TARDIS this year. It was a marvelous event. I can't thank all of the people enough who put on this convention. It was not perfect, but no event ever is. There was always plenty of great programming, wonderful access to the guests, and just friendly and fun people at every turn.

This convention was the first time my wife and I were able to be alone together in the two years since our special needs daughter was born. The expectations were obviously high for us. This event far exceeded those expectations. We were able to renew old friendships and forge new ones. It was simply fantastic.

Paul McGann was such a wonderful guest. He was so outgoing and mischievous. My wife nearly fainted when he snuck in behind us during the Thursday Guest Star panel. He was so warm and talkative that it's hard to believe that he hasn't been doing conventions for years and years. We can't wait for his return.

The other guests were also simply marvelous. Yee Jee Tso and Terry Molloy were hilarious and warm. Peter Purves was poised and fascinating. Stewart Bevan was very friendly. They were all very gracious to all of the fans.

I want to give a big thanks to all of the Big Finish crew and to all of the fine writers who were there. India Fisher was everything you could imagine. It is not possible to say enough wonderful things about her. All of the writers were interesting, entertaining, and accessible. Lynne and I had nice conversations with all of them at some point. I would like to thank the following individually: Rob Shearman for such a lovely brunch, the amazing Gary Russell and Jason Haigh-Ellery for their donations to my wife's library's rare and special book collection, the similar donation from the wonderful Lars Pearson and Christa Dickson, the fantastic Arnold Blumberg for his time, the generous Scott Alan Woodard for not being too creeped out when we swiped his doodles for the collection, and a special thanks to our friend Bill Baggs for the great time on the town.

I am so proud of my wife's work. There are not many academic librarians working to preserve this stuff for posterity. It's nice for me to know as a fan that thanks to her and these fantastic people, future scholars and fans will be able to come to the Northern Illinois University Rare Books and Special Collections Room to research and enjoy these works.

Finally, I would like to thank all of our new and old friends. It's been a long time since we've been able to have this much fun. As my wife says, you know it's a good vacation when you need a second vacation to recover. I can't wait till next year.
